03/22 NEWS: neoLASE nominated as Finalists for the Innovation Award Laser Technology
neoLASE is proud to announce that our laser technology “Unlimited flexibility for short pulse laser applications” is nominated as one of the 3 finalists for the Innovation Award Laser Technology 2020.
The Innovation Award Laser Technology is a European research and technology prize awarded every two years by the associations AKL Arbeitskreis Lasertechnik e.V. and the European Laser Institute ELI in recognition of outstandingly innovative work in the field of laser technology. Due to the Corona pandemic, the event could not take place in 2020.
The topic of the neoLASE innovation is to enable new laser material applications by the flexible use of short pulsed lasers. The “SMAART” laser design is based on an integrated and interchangeable ultra-short pulsed laser that offers pulse durations from nano- to femtoseconds or a combination of pulse durations to be used in the same process. The manufacturing industry will benefit from this unique laser technology, as advantages like reduced investment risk, upgradeability and self-service will lead to a higher sustainability and the ability to quickly switch between manufacturing processes.
